boundaries for women

becoming more assertive

Do you say yes when you want to say no? Do you feel guilty about setting boundaries? Do you struggle with resentment?

Many women suppress their needs and silence themselves to be seen as a “good woman”, to be well-liked, approved of and to avoid conflict and maintain security in their relationships.

Being assertive is often required to get what you want and need out of life.

It is difficult to become more assertive when society praises women for their willingness to exude endless care and concern for others.

It can be helpful to work on this skill in the company of other women who have similar struggles.

To support you in your journey, I am offering group psychotherapy for women focused on becoming more assertive.

This a closed group that will meet for seven sessions, once every two weeks over the course of 14 weeks. The total cost of $490.00 will be paid up front and there will be no reimbursements for missed sessions.
